Student Desk

Project: Given a product (a student desk) which has been in use for decades, undertake a design project as if the desk were to be redesigned. The only requirements would be that the new desk must target the same market as the existing product, and be offered at the same or lower price. This project was initiated at 8am on a Monday, and the concepts presented to management at 5pm on Friday, only five days later. While the group worked around the clock, they followed the Integen development process and were able to review the project, perform field research to learn of current issues with the desk, brainstorm, concept, prototype, and refine the design all in one week. Integen is currently marketing this product to potential distribution partners.
